Mission Overview

In collaboration with Global Wisdom Missions, Healing Hands Health Society embarked on a medical mission to Yola, located in Adamawa State, Nigeria. The primary objective of the mission was to provide essential healthcare services to underserved communities, particularly focusing on areas where access to medical care is limited or nonexistent.

Mission Objectives

1. To offer medical services, including consultations, diagnostics, and treatments, to individuals in need.
2. To raise awareness about preventive healthcare measures through educational sessions and community outreach.
3. To collaborate with local healthcare providers and authorities to strengthen healthcare infrastructure in the region.

Activities Undertaken

1. Medical Camps: Global Wisdom Missions set up medical camps in various locations across Yola, providing free medical consultations, basic healthcare services, and medications to individuals of all ages.
2. General Surgeries: Skilled medical professionals conducted general surgeries to address various health conditions, providing essential surgical interventions to those in need.
3. Cataract Surgeries: Specialized cataract surgeries were performed to restore vision and improve the quality of life for individuals affected by cataracts.
4. Dental Treatment: Dental services, including consultations, cleanings, extractions, and fillings, were provided to address oral health issues in the community.
