Fata Water Project
Fata Water Project
Outreach Details
In the recent past, we have responded to the carnage and loss of lives in Nandu village in Southern Kaduna, Nigeria. It stemmed from a herder/ farmer dispute . The destruction forced the villagers to live without shelter for many months. We are currently rebuilding homes in Nandu.
Our work in Southern Kaduna and Plateau states has given us a unique privilege to witness the lack of potable water in these communities. Many inhabitants get water from rivers which also serve for washing and bathing. Grazing animals also drink from the same source.
We are proposing to build 2 solar-powered boreholes (each ) with tanks for 3 communities.
- Kwanga A serving 3000 people weekly
- Kwanga B serving 2500 people weekly
- Gwantu A serving 4000 people weekly
- Gwantu Bserving 2500 people weekly
- Nandu A serving 2000 people weekly
- Nandu B serving 2500 people weekly
Each borehole project will cost about $3000. The 6 projects will cost a total of $18,000.00 This project will go a long way to strengthen the work of sharing the good news of the gospel in these communities. Particularly, it will encourage the missionaries serving and living in these hard-to-reach areas.
